Comm 340: Encounters in public sphere
This course was structured in a non-traditional lens of institutional acidemia. There was a lot of creative liberty in shaping our assignments and course. The entirety of our assignments required deep critical thought on how to interpret the power of sonic spaces and the elements of sound that express meaning.
Commuication
Communication: Comm: 410 communication and Democracy
This class has evolved my communication skills and dissecting of collaborative and public work. We had elements of public engagement like voters' registration drives, informative seminars, and partner analysis of running elections. This class relied on continual and updated data and scholarly interpretation of the why the data is what it is. The final was an elaborate autopsy report of the election paired with a quick presentation on the findings and interpreted results.
Teamwork
Comm 485: Documentary and social change
This class was crafted for understanding how social change can be represented across different mediums. We were asked to find a social change agent in Auckland, NZ that depicts our values and passions and make a short film showcasing their social contribution. We worked in groups of three to create this documentary which took intense teamwork and collaborative efforts to finalize and collect all the content necessary for our film.
