In my communication class at the University of Auckland, Documentary Social Change, we directed, produced and edited a short documentary on a social change agent in the community. Our group chose to capture the work of Niki Harre, a psychologist who studies the environmental crisis and the impacts of climate anxiety. Her approach to the climate crisis is built in community and finding positive initiatives that people will feel inspired by rather than defeated and anxious approach.

A ciritical analysis on the show Euphora. An indepth critique of popular media and the lack of disclosing emotional instability. Looking at the impacts of violent media consuption for targeted age groups, when we are not socially and mentally perpared for digesting the intesity of content.

A modern interpretaion on creation stories that is inspired by the ocean. There are critiques of power, marginalization, social hiearchy, and community.

A cultural genogram project that took a liberation approach to tracing our identities on a genealogical path. I spent time conducting interviews with three generations of my family, to build the foundation for my genogram. I looked across the lineage and the values, traditions, practices, attitudes, and beliefs that span over generations.
